The Bluewhale Tonemaster is a classic treble booster in the Rangemaster style, biasing of the silicon and germanium transistor pair create an asymmetrical output signal in the same way the classic Rangemaster did. The Tonemaster has a filter control at max it filters out most of the low end, at minimum it has little effect allowing you to dial in exactly the tone you want. The Tonemaster has true bypass switching and a power filter to reduce noise, it is also reverse polarity protected.
